Dr. Tahl P. Rozycki

A Rhode Island native who grew up in Providence and Houston.  Dr. Rozycki graduated from Bellaire High School, in Bellaire, Texas.  He then went on to earn 2 bachelor's degrees and finally his D.V.M., all from Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas in 1992. Dr. Rozycki's father, Tad T. Rozycki, M.D., was a dedicated and beloved Pediatrician who showed him the loving side of medicine from an early age.

Dr. Rozycki also has a veterinarian brother, Ari E. Rozycki, D.V.M., in California.  Dr. Rozycki entered the veterinary world working at an animal emergency hospital in Houston as a high school senior. During his undergraduate and veterinary school years, Dr. Rozycki continued to work in (another) animal ER and also worked for a local veterinary internist.

For the first 10 years in practice, Dr. Rozycki worked as an associate/employee veterinarian. After that, he performed relief work for a multitude of veterinary hospitals in and around Houston for 20 years. Dr. Rozycki also practiced regular, part-time emergency medicine in a variety of animal emergency hospitals in and around Houston for 21 years, until the COVID pandemic hit. Dr. Rozycki is the president of the Harris County Veterinary Medical Foundation, a member of the Texas Veterinary Medical Association's Government Relations committee and a past president and current board member of the Harris County Veterinary Medical Association.

After 30 years in practice, Dr. Rozycki finally opened Uptown Veterinary Hospital in Houston, Texas.
